About Us

The HBCU Mister and Miss Organization, founded in May 2018 by Jarrel Strong, a graduate of Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, is dedicated to empowering and elevating student leaders from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). We provide a platform for collaboration, leadership development, and advocacy, aiming to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by HBCU students and alumni. Through various programs and initiatives, we strive to foster excellence and drive positive change within the HBCU community.

Mission

The mission of the HBCU Mister and Miss Organization is to empower and elevate student leaders from HBCUs. We are dedicated to providing a platform for HBCU students, student leaders, and alumni to collaborate, share insights, and address the challenges and opportunities facing our institutions. Through leadership development, community engagement, and advocacy, we strive to foster excellence, promote unity, and drive positive change within the HBCU community.

Vision

Our vision is to create a unified network of HBCU students and alumni who are equipped to lead with excellence, integrity, and a commitment to social justice. We envision a future where HBCUs are celebrated for their profound contributions to education and society, and where their legacy is preserved and enhanced for generations to come. By nurturing the next generation of leaders, we aim to ensure that HBCUs continue to be a source of pride, empowerment, and transformative change within our communities and beyond.
